It is estimated that, by the end of 2010, over one-third of main textile machinery offered by China’s domestic textile machinery industry will reach advanced international level. Especially, chemical fiber, cotton textile and nonwoven facilities will be spotlights.

According to CCPIT Tex, government has outlined the strategic having strengthening national machinery industry as its one of priorities. As the most important pillar industry for national economy and for export and foreign exchange earnings, of course, China’s textile machinery industry has been a focus of attention.

China Custom’s statistics showed that the import of textile machinery made by China in 2005 was U.S. dollar 3.445 billion falling 24.06 per cent year-on-year. By the end of the year 2010, the rate of output value of China’s textile machinery industry will surge to 50% from 25%, the figure in 2005. And over one-third of its production will be exported.
