The 4th Global Textile Economic Forum opened on March 23, 2007 at Beijing Diaoyutai State Guest House. Since launched in March 2004, the Forum was organized in each March and has been held three times succesfully. This Forum focuses on the theme of "Science and Technology, Brand and International Cooperation". Senior industrial officials, reputed enterpreneurs, brand owners, economists, scientists and sociologist have been invited to Beijing to share their knowledge on science & technology and brand, and to explore the new solutions for international cooperation.

Du Yuzhou, President of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) gave a warm welcome to distinguished guests attending 4th Global Textile Economic Forum in Beijing , and highlighted the "Science & Technology, Brand and International Cooperation Dialogue " in addressing long-term economic relations between China and other countries. Vice President of CNTAC Xu Wenying, and director of the Press Center of CNTAC co-chaired the talks.
