More than 25,000 people visited the show, which on March 27 - 29, 2008 , an increase of 17% over 2007. The fair was held at the China International Exhibition Centre, with 30% more space than in 2007. More than 1,130 suppliers attended from 15 countries and regions and a new highlight this year was an entire hall dedicated to accessories and a special zone for lace and embroidery products.
Yarn Expo Spring 2008

The specialised trade event Yarn Expo Spring attracted nearly 3,600 visitors from 41 counties and regions 27 - 29 March 2008 at the China World Trade Centre in Beijing . The show is a focused event catering to the textile fibre and yarn industry and featured nearly 100 suppliers from eight countries and regions.

Total Fabric Output Expands 14.2 Percent in March  
  China 's March fabric production increased 14.2 percent to 4.604 billion square meters, the second largest monthly output on record, while first quarter 2008 fabric output was up 9.5 percent year-on-year to 11.859 billion square meters. Cotton fabric output accounted for 6.177 billion square meters (up 10.4%), blended fabric 1.825 billion square meters (only up 4.1%) and MMF fabric 3.850 billion square meters (up 10.8%).  
March Yarn Production Climbs 10.7%  
  March yarn output in China expanded 10.7% from March 2007 to reach almost 1.8 million tons, led by 37.1% year-over-year gains in Henan Province .
