Shanghai Home Textiles show space grows by 10%

SHANGHAI, China'Sponsors of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles 2011 here said the show has increased its exhibit space by 10%, with 11 buildings grouped into sections for upholstery, bedding and curtain fabrics.

The show, which runs Aug. 29-31, will highlight new pavilions from Greece, Italy and Spain, along with pavilions from Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan and Turkey.

In addition, Chinese producers will promote their brands to the international marketplace, with manufacturers from China's major home textile production areas grouped into six regional pavilions at the fair's domestic halls. Among them will be exhibitors from Haining, Shaoxing, Tongxiang and Yuhang, regions known for decorative fabrics.
