In the first five months of 2007, the output of yarn of scaled amounted 7.41 million tons, increased 20.62% on a year to date basis. The output of fabric amounted to18.8 billion meters, increased 12.22% year to date. Total output of garments reached 7.18 billion pieces and represented 14.53% increase year to date. Total output of chemical fiber reached9.37million tons, increasing by 17.91% year to date.
