Yarn Output in April Grows

According to the latest statistics from National Bureau, China¡¯s yarn output reached 1.6107 million tons in April 2007, an increase of 18.32 percent over the same period last year. This was also 1.19 percent more than the production in March.

From September 2006 to April 2007, China¡¯s yarn output amounted to 12.182 million tons, a boost of 1.9514 million tons, a growth of 19.07 percent.
