China's yarn production further increased in October, expanding 13 percent to 1.7404 million tons, which was up from 1.7211 million tons in September. January through October cumulative yarn output grew 17.3 percent from the previous year to 16.1759 million tons. Growth in monthly yarn production is slowly changing its focus on fixed asset investment in cotton textiles to man-made fiber production, which is now growing at a rapid pace.
