Official statistics by China Customs showed the import & export of textiles & apparel from Laioning Province in 2005, China was USD 3.468 billion, up 15.09% by year-on-year of 2004.In which, the export was USD 2.714 billion, up 19.7% year-on-year. And the textile export reached USD 0.498 billion, taking up 18.35% of the total province export, up 15.45% year-on-year; the apparel export reaching USD 2.216 billion, taking up 81.65% of the total province export, up 20.70% year-on-year.

The export fabrics made in Liaoning rose by 25.81% by year-on-year and the unit price rising up by 8.31%.

The knitting apparel export was USD 0.474 billion up 22.23%, woven apparel export reaching USD 1.495 billion rising 21.44% by year-on-year.
