The first ever Direct Sale Center (DSC) for branded shoes in China officially began its operation on September 1, 2008. This Center is located at Jingjiang city, Fujian province.
Already, 17 renowned shoe brands, including Anta, 361¡ã and Xtep, have set up their offices at this center.
Local Government expressed its plans to make this Center one of the leading shoe markets in China. This will not only offer sports shoes brands, but also conduct wholesale trade of raw materials.
Several footwear dealers said that this base is extremely helpful for them, since earlier they had to travel to different places to find variety of brands. This took up lot of time and money. However, now all brands will be available under one roof.
This Center is rapidly gaining popularity among enterprises. Sources report that another 29 sports-shoe brands are expected to set up branches here soon.
