Fujian Jinlun Petrochemical Fiber Industry Co. Ltd., China, is to expand its output of polyester fibre to 600 tons per day through the addition of a new fibre line sourced from Zimmer AG.

The new line will join two existing Zimmer polyester staple fibre (PSF) lines at Jinlun's facility in the Binhai Industry Zone Changle, of Fujian Province.
The new line employs Zimmer's latest spinning and staple fibre production technology and will have a capacity of 200 tons per day. The production line designed by Fleissner GmbH, an affiliate of Zimmer AG, will be equipped with one of the world's largest crimpers and mirrors the two existing Zimmer lines commissioned last year.

Zimmer will provide technology, engineering and key equipment and is responsible for the supervision of erection and start-up of the plant, scheduled for the beginning of 2007.
