China’s exports of silk garment reached 197.05 million pieces (sets) from January to July this year, an increase of 314.69 percent year on year; export value realized US $700 million, an increase of 6.4 percent year on year; average unit price was US $ 3.55 / piece (set), down 74.34 percent year on year, according to statistics from China Customs.

Silk garment exports accounted for 66.95 percent of the total export value of China’s manufactured silk products, 33.57 percent of the total export value of China’s silk merchandise, 0.8 percent of the total value of China’s garment exports.

Germany: China’s exports of silk garment to Germany registered 28.39 million pieces (sets) from January to July this year, an increase of more than 10 times year on year; export value scored US $33.25 million, an increase of 8.01 percent year on year; average unit price was US $ 1.17 / piece (set), down 91.62 percent year on year. Export volume and value accounted for 14.41 percent and 4.75 percent of the market share, respectively, according to the latest statistics from China Customs.

Malaysia: China’s exports of silk garment to Malaysia recorded 14.11 million pieces (sets) from January to July this year, an increase of more than 10 times year on year; export value fetched US $4.58 million, an increase of more than 10 times year on year; average unit price was US $ 0.32 / piece (set), down 95.63 percent year on year. Export volume and value accounted for 7.16 percent and 0.66 percent of the market share, respectively, according to the latest statistics from China Customs.

United States: China’s exports of silk garment to the United States achieved 28.14 million pieces (sets), from January to July this year, an increase of 35.79 percent year on year; export value fetched US $278 million, an increase of 1.91 percent year on year; average unit price was US $ 9.87 / piece (set), down 29.95 percent year on year. Export volume and value accounted for 14.28 percent and 39.67 percent of its market share, respectively, according to the latest statistics from China Customs.

Hong Kong: China’s exports of silk garment to Hong Kong recorded 15.65 million pieces (sets) from January to July this year, an increase of 175.1 percent year on year; export value fetched US $71.71 million, an increase of 13.74 percent year on year; average unit price was US $ 4.58 / piece (set), down 58.66 percent year on year. Export volume and value accounted for 7.94 percent and 10.25 percent of the market share, respectively, according to the latest statistics from China Customs.

Panama: China's exports of silk garment to Panama recorded 12.98 million pieces (sets) from January to July this year, an increase of more than 10 times year on year; export value fetched US $3.07 million, an increase of more than 10 times year on year; average unit price was US $ 0.24 / piece (set), down 98.46 percent year on year.
