When European textile insiders still take delight in talking about the last apparel sourcing show in September 2011, the debut of APP Spring edition bring people back to the Le Bourget Expo Center, with entire passion. The 7th APP Show, sponsored by China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC), organized by the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT TEX), China National Garment Association and Messe Frankfurt French Subsidiary, was on display from Feb 13th to 16th 2012,

The APP Paris is firstly launched in the beginning of a year so as to meet the needs of both European buyers and Chinese enterprises. The feedbacks of exhibitors and visitors all demonstrates the spring edition a successful one. The first ever spring edition, organized in the same period and at the same place with Texworld Paris like what autumn edition and Texworld did, aims to make the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain a perfect match. The APP spring edition, along with the Texworld, attracts a pool of over 700 exhibitors to the hall with the total area of 20000 sqm.

China, which remains the foremost place of supply for Europe sourcing, underlines its presence with a national pavilion (CTAF, China Textiles and Apparel Fair) and producers who have been selected by CCPIT TEX and CNTAC and who have already built up their European markets, like Shanshan and Hengyuan Garments from Ningbo, and Kaer from Zhejiang province whose ties and accessories are cutting -edge and high quality.

As with textiles or designers, sourcing also has its trends that are dictated by the buyers according to colors, the main tendencies or favorites... Purchases by principals who come mainly from Europe and North America define the main lines that will be found in shop windows next season. Both Chinese and Frankfurt staff attach great importance to the situation of Chinese enterprises and what they could achieve on the spot. Through the investigation, they find that Chinese designs and workmanship are both improved a lot and closer to the international level, but there are still problems ahead, like how to present the advantages of their product to visitors and how to achieve a better result in exhibition hall.

The CTAF, organized by CCPIT-Tex, a long-standing partner of Messe Frankfurt, attended with 30 exhibitors, is attending the show in February for the first time. Overall, exhibitors are satisfied with the reappearance of buyers. The CTAF confirms its dynamic growth and its desire to capture the European market with a variety of high-quality lines for men, women, children and accessories.

Mr. Lin Yunfeng, vice president of CCPIT-TEX confirms "his satisfaction with the encouraging result of this show that asserts the position of Chinese sourcing on the European market".
