Intertextile Pavilion at Shenzhen,is held form 12 to  14 July 2007 in Shenzhen, in China’s southern Guangdong province, brings together fabric producers and apparel makers in one of China’s key manufacturing and clothing design regions.

There are more than 3,000 apparel manufacturers in the area, which together produce about 800 brands – including some of the most popular in China. Apparel manufacturing in China was once focused on exports but rising incomes and growing tastes at home have developed a thriving domestic market. More than two-thirds of China’s total garment sales are now domestic and from 2000 to 2005, China’s domestic per capita clothing consumption grew 74%.

International Pavilion at Shenzhen is organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.; The Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and Shenzhen Garment Industry Association.
